Assessment & Solutions in Psychology are a private company operated by Dr Lesley Leeds & Dr Jon Willis.
We are currently offering specialist autism assessments (including Asperger Syndrome) to adults in the
North West of England, Cheshire and the North Wales area.

We are both Clinical Psychologists registered with the Health Professionals Council.
We have combined experience of over 13 years working as qualified Clinical Psychologists
in busy community teams in the NHS.

Jon & Lesley have particular expertise in the assessment of autistic spectrum disorders
(including Asperger's syndrome) and are fully trained in the use of the Autism Diagnostic
Inventory and the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule. We have extensive experience
in the psychometric assessment of individuals.

Jon & Lesley also have a lot of experience of working with individuals who have a wide range
of psychological disorders, including:
personality disorders, depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive problems, psychosis,
dementia, issues arising from sexual abuse.

Dr Jon Willis Jon has over 12 years experience working within NHS clinical settings, he is dedicated to helping individuals to understand themselves and their difficulties and to use this understanding to explore and support steps forward. Jon seeks to adapt his work and apply psychological approaches to support people that may have felt unheard or excluded from traditional services. Jon is very experienced in working with people with a learning disability or autistic spectrum disorder and has a particular interest in working with psychological factors that impact on obesity.

Dr Lesley Leeds Dr Lesley Leeds is a HPC registered Clinical Psychologist, who has been working in the NHS for over ten years. Lesley has been working in a busy community team in  North Wales, with a specialist focus upon learning disability, mental health, autism, personality disorders and suicide. Lesley has undergone specialist training in the assessment of autism, suicidality and is trained to use a range of therapeutic approaches, including dialectical behaviour therapy.
